Hope Cemetery in Barre, Vermont

Located in what is referred to as "the granite capital of the world," the Hope Cemetery attracts visitors for all over the world. What started out as a 53 acre cemetery in 1895, planned by landscape architect, Edward P. Adams, the cemetery has grown to 65 acres.
Hope Cemetery is located on Maple Avenue/Route 14N, about 1 mile from Main Street, Barre.
These photos were taken during my son's (age 6) and my most recent walk through the cemetery this past summer. We didn't walk the entire cemetery because he was getting tired (it's a HUGE cemetery), so I hope to get back there this coming summer. I will be sure to post a follow-up with the photos I take during that trip.
